Meet Your Coach

Hi, I'm Kimberly.

I bring 15+ years of coaching experience and hold:

  • BS in Exercise & Sport Science (UW-La Crosse)

  • Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (NSCA)

  • Certified Postnatal Fitness Specialist

But more importantly, I know how to coach exercise in a way that feels sustainable and uplifting instead of obsessive and stressful. Exercise can be a tool to improve your life and it truly doesn’t need to feel so complicated. I hope you’ll join us to get stronger, be in community and have a few laughs along the way.

What Clients Are Saying…

  • "As a women’s health doctor, I deeply appreciate Kim’s weight-inclusive, compassionate approach to movement. She understands that fitness isn’t one-size-fits-all and meets each client where they are, providing thoughtful, personalized guidance. Her ability to tailor movement to individual needs—whether working around pain, energy levels, or life demands—sets her apart."

Dr. Molly — mom, women’s health doctor

  • Kim has been a fantastic coach to have in my corner. In fact, I don’t know where I would be without her. Her coaching style is calm and supportive, which is perfect for me after many years with an unhealthy relationship with exercise and movement. Kim’s expertise in perinatal strength and weight-inclusive coaching is so needed in the fitness industry!

Ally — mom, former professional dancer, small business owner

  • “I'm so grateful for this. I feel so much better this time around being postpartum. I know a lot of that is because of your programs! I'm stronger and more confident. Your program has given me the tools to know how to strengthen and move my body in all the right ways for the demands of being a postpartum mother of two littles. Thank you!”

Angela — mom of 2, kindergarten teacher

 FAQs

  • Absolutely not. The beauty of strength training is you can take very basic, fundamental movements and make them easier or harder with small tweaks, like how slow or quickly you move and how much weight or tension you use.

And while this isn’t 1 on 1 coaching, I will be able to give every person in the room customized attention and modifications throughout the workout. So honestly it’s the best of both worlds — a cheaper price point than personal training but you’ll still get attention and care from a coach!

  • This isn't a traditional fitness class for many reasons.

    • No matching workout sets or “perfect” bodies required!

    • No “bro” fitness vibes here! I value inclusion and progress over perfection.

    • This group will feel like a community of support and FUN (which we all need more of, right?!)

    • I’m able to modify exercises for you as needed for pregnancy, postpartum, peri/postmenopause or any pelvic floor symptoms.

    • I’ve created a solid workout program that will have you feeling better then when you started AND help you get stronger and moving easier (without the body obsession or diet culture BS)!

Plus, you get me as your coach — someone who understands real life and prioritizes sustainable progress over quick fixes.

  • A: My #1 goal is to provide a safe, welcoming and body positive space. I don’t allow body commentary, weight loss talk, diet talk — it’s boring at best and harmful to so many (including myself).

I don’t scream at clients, I don’t tell you to push past pain and I’ll never talk about the size or shape of your body. Instead I’ll coach you through strength training lifts that will make your life easier and help your body feel better.

I promise there’s more to exercise than obsessing over your body and trying to fall in line! I hope you’ll give this a chance and make room for a new relationship with exercise.

  • A: Workouts are offered on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays for this upcoming fall session.

You’ll choose to do 1 or 2 workouts per week and then which day(s) you want to come for the whole 8 weeks.

Say you want to do 1 workout each week and choose Sunday mornings as your day. You’ll be signed up for every Sunday for the whole session. If you’re going to miss a workout due to travel or you end up missing due to illness / unforseen circumstances, you can make up the workout and come to a Tuesday/Thursday workout instead.

I also don’t expect perfect attendance — especially if you choose 2 workouts/week. The cost per workout is lower for that very reason. Life happens! Join us when you can, don’t sweat it when you can’t.

  • No problem – I get it! Life isn’t perfect and neither is your exercise schedule! You’re going to miss and that’s ok. If you’re signed up for 1x/week, feel free to drop into another session to make it up. If you’re 2x/week, I’ve reduced the price to account for the occasional absence.

If you’ll miss over half of the sessions, you can always sign up with the drop in option instead.
